MDFPA - YEAR IN REVIEW

As many of you have come to realize for yourselves, 2022 was indeed a struggle

For non-profits of any type, it becomes a daunting task at times to fulfill our promises and continue our objectives. However, we are determined to be good stewards of all the gifts we receive and to delegate these resources in the best way possible in order to maximize our goals according to our mission statement and to honor our benefactors with wise decisions

Where we are today!

To date we accomplished the following…

  1. Hosted 3 Bi Monthly Bits & Pieces puppetry workshops at Clearing Branch Library

  2. Sponsored a scholarship for Eugene O’Neill Puppetry Conference in Vermont

  3. Scholarships for 3 at Scott Land School, Las Vegas Dave Herzog Marionettes workshop

  4. PUPPET CAMP residencies for 2 individuals - A 5 day session featuring CIRCUS DAY - Clearing Library

  5. Valentine Vox ventriloquism scholarships for 3 at Scott Land School, Las Vegas

  6. Partnered with Great Arizona Puppet Theater fundraiser to host Phillip Huber Marionettes

  7. Hosted a “Do You Want To Build A Snowman” puppet workshop at Clearing Library

  8. Created and distributed 1500 copies of activity/coloring book to Advocate Christ Hospital

In addition numerous ticket donations were provided to theaters around the country to help fill some seats during these difficult times

Many individuals and families benefitted from this gesture

None of this would be possible without your continued generosity and belief in us

THANK YOU!
